A Rare and Elusive Blog Post
Yeah, yeah, we've heard it all before. Well-meaning blogger looses interest and allows his amazing blog to languish in the land of no updates. Well, though the blog may have been stagnant, I can assure you that we've still been taking plenty of pictures and video, and it's high time somebody got their act together and shared them!
Well, that somebody is me, and that time (what do you mean I didn't mention a time?) is now! Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, I present to you six- and seven-month-old Amelia! Impossibly, she's actually gotten more cute! Anyway, the pics are at the usual place, with new ones beginning here.

The Prodigal Blog...
...returns!
Wow, it's been a while since I made a post. I started going back to work about three weeks ago, and I wasn't really prepared for the sudden increase in... well, Sammy says "shit to do" and that's really the best way to put it. Alls I can say is, "oof."
Sam's parents just flew back to Toledo from their one week visit and we're moving back into the old routine. Of course, Amelia has added a whole 'nother week of development during that time, and all of those changes kind of hit us all at once after we became her primary caregivers again (Debbie had a habit of swooping in on the baby and carrying her off at even the slightest sign of wiggles--like a massive, benevolent, bird of prey, really!)
Anyway, we didn't (completely) cut off the picture stream in the time that I've avoided blog posts, and I've just uploaded a couple of big batches to both the Grandparents and Amelia albums. I include my usual sample below. (And yes, Noelle, I know I snuck some pictures of Tommy into the Grandparents album--whatever!)

I'm officially back to work (as of yesterday), although for these first two days back I'm actually working from home. I'm not looking forward to Monday, not because I don't like my job, but because I'll be missing Amelia all day long...
